Originally founded in 2005 to build physics and rendering game engines, Apastron now uses strong backgrounds in engineering, mechanics and simulation to design and develop systems software for performance-critical applications.
We apply high performance computing techniques like shared/distributed parallel processing, asynchronous programming, and GPU computing to process large datasets.
We design database systems to store and manage the results.
We develop straightforward applications to visualize and make sense of all that data.
There is no magic to our approach; just detailed analysis, careful design, and lots of testing.
We are located in the Hopkins Professional Building just behind Hance Hardware.
